Patient & Community Advisory Council (PMAC)
The CARRIES Study Team strongly values the patient and community's perspective, experiences and understanding of their colorectal cancer journey, pregnancy, as well as maternal and child health.
Dr. Holowatyj intentionally created the CARRIES Patient & Community Advisory Council to partner the study team with our patients so that we can: (1) consider the highest research priorities, pregnancy and cancer care needs based on the patient voice, (2) improve components of the CARRIES Study and optimize our communication methods with patients, and (3) value diverse perspectives and engage all patients in the CARRIES Study to maximize our community impact.
